OVERVIEW
Arris Engineering provides complete power systems engineering design to a variety of utility, municipal, governmental and industrial clients.

We have the necessary expertise to design complete power systems from generation, transformation, transmission and distribution. We have significant experience integrating new equipment into existing systems.

PHILOSOPHY
Our design philosophy is based on providing systems that retain a high degree of flexibility and reliability. We believe in developing a thorough understanding of the existing conditions and the clients needs early in the design process.

We feel that detailing is an important and time is well spent providing specifics so that the final design captures the needs of the client and provides a robust power
system.

EXPERIENCE
The staff at Arris engineering has extensive experience not only in the design of high voltage power systems but also in the operation and maintenance of these systems as well.

Our unique experience gives us the perspective to provide our customers with functional designs that are maintenance friendly and maximize value and minimize life cycle costs.

Arris Engineering has recently been awarded another design project at the Tobyhanna Army Depot. The renovations and additions to the Building 72 Mezzanine area marks the fifth project awarded this year. Arris will act as the lead design professional for this project and will work with M.E.R.I.T. Inc. in a design/build capacity to complete construction of the renovation and addition.

Arris has implemented Autodesk Revit MEP. The new software has allowed Arris to work with Architects that also utilize the Architectural version of the software and better serve to meet the client’s needs when considering a complete building system package. The software conversion included all the aspects of Autocad MEP and also allows for designs to be completed with the use of 3-D building components.
